food + travel: angelina, paris

Angelina is the place to go for hot chocolate in Paris. Chocolat Africain (picture no.2) is no doubt one of the best hot chocolate I've tried thus far. It's like drinking a melted chocolate bar, only in a cup. You will definitely need a glass of water by your side. Angelina is also famous for its pastries and cakes, and of course I tried their very sweet and famous Mont Blanc confection (picture no.3) - a blend of chestnut puree and cream. I personally think it's way to sweet for my liking and it's not something I would go for again. If you still have enough stomach space after the rich hot chocolate, do try their mains, its worth a try.
