Today marks the third day of Lent. The 40 days offers me a feasible time frame to learn to sacrifice in the name of something bigger. I gave up all things chocolate, social media websites like Facebook and Twitter last year. This year I'm sacrificing rice, pineapple tarts, coffee, and ice cream.

marchesa fall 2010

I'm having the most amazing time, celebrating Chinese New Year and checking out New York Fashion Week on my BlackBerry. The shows are so incredible and inspiring! I just wanted to share some pictures from one of my long time favourite designer, Marchesa. I was immediately blown away by the gorgeous, frothy, fairy wonderland gowns made with intricate beading, lace, embroidery, corsetry and construction. My favourite piece has to be second picture.
