I'm craving for scones, butter, strawberry jam and clotted cream and the first place I had in mind for tea was the famous Carcosa Seri Negara, a colonial mansion surrounded by 14 hectares of landscaped gardens where you can watch the splendours of nature unfold through the windows of the 19th century Malaysia.
Over twenty different choices of tea are available. A silver three tiered cake stand comes with dainty finger sandwiches, including smoked salmon, cheese, and egg. This is followed by scones served with rose petal jam and cream, a small portion of Rhubarb crumble, a selection of dainty finger pastries and, for those with enough space, a Creme Brulee so rich you'll hardly want to stagger out of the chair!
